Our awesome birthday party at NHTI

We can’t believe we’re 3 already! It seems like just yesterday we were planning our second birthday. (Remember? We dressed up in Western garb for a group photo – it was awesome! And completely random!) Normally we touch base with stars of Insider articles from the past year, but this time around, we decided to shake things up a bit. We called our best bud, NHTI, and asked if we could hand out cake at the student center. The cake would...

C-town's Nickelodeon star

Last week, we sat down at Ella’s and watched Nickelodeon’s new show, “The Troop.” The show is about three high school freshmen, two boys and a girl, who fight monsters. Their disguise is that they’re in a mime club, even though they’re not that good at miming. The episode we watched was called “The Worm.” In this episode, the troop fights the Mongolian death worm. A tangled Halloween mystery

Witches’ brooms are the strange and abnormal formations of dense twigs that appear in trees and shrubs and have always been a source of mystery. They got their name during medieval times when anything unexplainable was blamed on witchcraft. Today, these bizarre broom-like clusters of branches in trees and bushes are still called “witches’ brooms.” We now know that witches’ brooms are caused by many different organisms such as fungi,...
