Seven Horses Tattoo is new to the capital city, but not new to tattooing.

The shop opened October after the owners, Angel and Randy Burham, moved from Epping.

“I’ve been tattooing for 20 years,” Angel Burham said. “I opened my first studio in Manchester in 2008; that was called Bittersweet Tattoo.”

She started solo, and her husband joined the business seven years ago. They moved to Epping at a shop more upscale vibe but were only there a year. Business started doing so well people would fly in from across U.S. to come, Burham said. Epping lacked hotels, restaurants and transportation options tattoo tourists were looking for, so they moved to Concord.

“It’s been great so far. Everyone is loving it here and so are we,” Burham said. Joining them in Concord is Blake Francis, who previously worked with them at a charity tattooing event.

Angel Burham does a dot work style and also does scar covering work particularly on mastectomy or self-harm scars . Randy Burham has a specific style called neotraditional and Francis has a traditional style.

Seven Horses books by appointment only and primarily online, in 4 to 6 months blocks.
