White Birch Center is partnering with Granite VNA to present a free two-part
Caregiver Wellness Series designed to support caregivers with practical tools for managing stress and maintaining emotional well-being.
The sessions will be held at the White Birch Center Cornerstone Building, located at 116 Main Street in Henniker. Community members are encouraged to attend either or both events at no cost. This series welcomes anyone providing care or support to another person — including those caring for parents, spouses, children, family members, friends, or loved ones facing health challenges or life transitions.
Upcoming sessions include:
Tuesday, June 2, from 3–4 p.m. — Managing Caregiver Stress
Thursday, June 25, from 3–4 p.m. — Emotional Well-Being for Caregivers
The demands of caregiving can often become overwhelming, impacting physical health, relationships, and mental wellness. During the “Managing Caregiver Stress” session, Granite VNA Community Health Educator Kelli Anaya will discuss strategies caregivers can use to recharge, reduce stress, and find greater balance in daily life.
The second session, “Emotional Well-Being for Caregivers,” will focus on understanding emotional health and coping with the challenges caregiving responsibilities can bring. Participants will learn practical strategies for managing emotional wellness, building resilience, and navigating change.
“These workshops are designed to provide support, encouragement, and practical tools for anyone caring for others,” said Morgan Ring, Family Resource Director at the Cornerstone Building.“Caregiving can take many forms, and it’s important for caregivers to make time to care for themselves as well.”
Registration is required. For more information, email morganr@whitebirchcc.org or contact the Cornerstone Building at 603-428-3077.
