More than 40 New Hampshire artists will display their work in the 2026 Summer Members Show & Sale at the Two Villages Art Society’s gallery in the Hopkinton village of Contoocook. The show opens Saturday, June 13, with a reception from 12-2 p.m. and runs through July 11.
All exhibitors in the upcoming show are members of the Two Villages Art Society (TVAS) https://www.twovillagesart.org/, a nonprofit organization supported by members that offers exhibits, workshops, and other cultural programs and events.
“Our annual summer members show gives local artists an opportunity to participate in a group exhibit and share their work with a broader audience,” says TVAS president Larry Morgan. “Some of these artists exhibit widely and are well-known, and some are in the earlier stages of being professionals in their fields. The work is incredibly varied in terms of medium, style, size, and price point. There’s something for everyone, and it’s a great chance to meet up with friends in a space filled with art.”
The artwork includes acrylic, oil, watercolor, ceramics, graphite, ceramics, fiber, pyrography, wood and mixed media. Exhibitors are artists from Amherst, Canterbury, Concord, Henniker, Hopkinton, North Sutton, Pembroke, Warner, Weare and other area towns.
The Summer Members exhibit is juried by a prominent member of the New Hampshire art community. “Best in Show” and “Artist Merit” awards will be presented during the opening reception.
Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public, as are opening receptions. The gallery is at 846 Main Street, Contoocook and is open Thursday- Sunday from 12-4 p.m.
