Immunization clinic

Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association offers a monthly Walk-In Immunization Clinic for children and adults who are uninsured, underserved, and who have no access to these needed services in order to lead a healthy lifestyle. The next will be Monday from 1 to 4 p.m. Immunization Clinics are at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Outreach Center, 21 Centre St. in Concord. A fee of $10 is requested per person. Chamber presents outlook forum

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce invites members and the public to a luncheon forum on Jan. 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Holiday Inn, 172 N. Main St., Concord. A panel of experts will discuss issues facing this year’s legislators, and how the current political climate is anticipated to influence the 2020 legislative session. This annual event is generously sponsored by Ledyard National Bank. Panelists are David Juvet of Business & Industry Association of N.H., Phil Sletten of N.H. Fiscal Policy Institute, and Dean Spiliotes of N.H. Political Capital, who will share insight on this year’s top issues and discuss what bills may affect businesses in 2020. Moderator Ari Pollack of Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell will facilitate this timely discussion and invites attendees to continue the conversation during a lively Q&A session. This year’s panelists bring outstanding expertise and insights to chamber members and interested members of the public. Bereavement group

Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association is offering a Newly Bereaved Discussion Group on Feb. 4 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Concord Regional VNA Hospice House, 240 Pleasant St. in Concord. Groups are held on the first Tuesday of each month at the same time. This session provides grief education and support for those who have experienced the recent loss of a loved one. Winter Carnival

The annual White Park Winter Carnival will be Saturday. The day begins with the White Park Ugly Sweater 5k (for which there will be some road closures) at 11:30 a.m. For more information or to sign up for the race, visit whiteparkuglysweater5k.com. There will also be face painting, skating races, snowman contest, sledding and a bonfire. As a part of the event will be the unveiling of the initial design for the Monkey Around Playground.

Children’s chorus

All Saints Anglican Church is currently growing a touring youth chorus which will offer performances throughout New England and in the summer, in Montreal. This chorus has already enjoyed two performances and we want folks to know we are accepting young people ages 10 – 17 to come and join us. All Saints offers this opportunity for young singers as part of our arts ministry with the tuition being only $35 per month. The group meets Mondays at 4:15 p.m. at the church, 124 Hall Street.  For more information, call 781-5695.
