If you like running on city streets and getting decorated with washable paint, then you might want to keep reading.
Because you can do both on Sunday at the Concord School District 21C Color Run. It’s a fundraiser for the district’s 21C after school program – and just think, you can get your exercise in for the day, too.
It’s a 5K run, but you can also walk, skip or crawl the 3.1 miles around Rollins Park.
The run starts at 11:15 a.m. with registration beginning at 10 a.m. at Rollins Park. You can sign up ahead of time online or the day of the race.
The deadline has passed to receive a 21C Color Run t-shirt and color packet, but you can still wear your own white T-shirt to get all messy. And don’t worry, with volunteers armed with colors throughout the course, there will be plenty of paint to go around.
Cost is $25 for general registration, $15 for students and $20 for school district staff.
