Bulletin Board: Chamber offers workshop on Affordable Care Act

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce will offer a workshop, “The Affordable Care Act: Nuts & Bolts for Businesses,” Sept. 19 from 7:45 to 9 a.m. at the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce conference room at 49 S. Main St., Suite 104. A light breakfast will be served and seating is limited. The workshops are sponsored and presented by L. William Davis, II, CLU of Truncellito & Davis, and Kenneth C. Wolfe, CPA, of Nathan & Wechsler Company, PA.

How will the ACA affect your business, and where do you go from here? The presenters will help you gain a better understanding of requirements of the ACA with a step-by-step presentation tailored to alleviate your concerns and answer your questions, including:

∎ How is the Affordable Care Act going to affect me and my business?

∎ What do I need to do NOW? Where do I go for assistance?

∎ What are the tax aspects of this act which affect my business now and in the future?

∎ What is an Exchange and will I be required to purchase insurance there?

∎ What can I expect in 2014? What do I communicate to my employees?

∎ Is terminating my group coverage actually a good option?

The workshops are free for Chamber members and $15 for non-members. Please register by visiting concordnhchamber.com.
