The Capitol Center for the Arts has been chosen as a Citizens Bank Champion in Action for its in role in driving economic activity and spurring redevelopment in the South Main Street neighborhood of Concord, as well as its efforts to increase access to the arts in New Hampshire through education programs and collaborative business partnerships. To date, the Citizen’s Bank program has awarded 47 local nonprofits with nearly $1 million in grants since being launched by Citizen’s Bank in 2002.
