Where did you go to school?

University of New Hampshire, Durham, and I studied abroad at Regents College, in London, England.

What do you like to do for fun?

In my free time I love to be outside. I like to ride my road bike, run, swim and wake board on Lake Sunapee, go to the beach, compete in road races, triathlons, – I’m running a half marathon at the end of the month. I like to explore New Hampshire, relax, snowboard, hike and spend time with the people I love.

Favorite places to be?

Breckenridge, Colo.; Portsmouth, N.H.; Burlington, Vt. My home, fall in New England, anywhere in Colorado, the beach, Charleston, S.C. and Austin, Texas.

Last book(s) you read?

Wild, Little Bee, The 19th Wife, Shadow of the Wind, This Present Darkness, Winter Garden, Hunger Games. I love to read, and I love a good book. Well, and People, Cosmo, Glamour, and Real Simple.

How did you find out about CYPN and how has it benefitted your business or you personally?

When I moved back to the area, I heard about CYPN and one of my girlfriends recommended that I join to network and get involved in the community. It has been a great way to meet new people and stay connected to other professionals.

What organizations are you involved with?

I love to get involved. Currently that includes the Kimball Jenkins School of Art, the Woman’s Club of Concord, the Bow Rotary, the Centennial Senior Center programming and marketing Committee, Concord Young Professionals Network Marketing Committee, the Friends Program marketing committee for the annual Friends Auction, and the Healthy Homes Steering Committee.

Most inspirational person in your life?

There are two. Bill Chapin was my mentor during my college internship at A.G. Edwards and taught me that the first day of work is the most important, how to manage people with respect and empowerment, and he always reminded me to be kind. The other most inspirational person in my life is Mike Dudick, my “Breckenridge Dad” who also taught me time management, hard work, and to live by the motto “Work hard. Play hard.”

Greatest role model?

Cecie Hartigan (executive director at New Hampshire Lawyers Assistance Program) – to me she represents hard work, kindness, and leadership. Cecie is very influential in my life and has taught me many life lessons.

What’s your favorite restaurant in Concord?

It’s a toss-up between The Common Man (who can beat their cheese and crackers?!) and Margarita’s chips and salsa.

What’s your favorite place to go in Concord?

The Concord Co-Op.

Favorite movie of all time?

The Notebook and Dirty Dancing.

What is one of your life goals?

Run a marathon.

What has been your favorite CYPN event so far?

Evolution Rock & Fitness climbing gym.

Favorite famous person?

Christian Grey, Jackie O., Tim Tebow, and Kate Middleton.

If you could visit any country, where would you go?

Southern France.

Where is the best place you’ve visited?

St. Lucia and Kauai, Hawaii.

Who would you really like to meet?

Another toss-up between two great female athletes: either Sarah Burke (a pioneer of the snowboarding superpipe event. She was a four-time Winter X Games gold medalist, and won the world championship in the halfpipe in 2005), or Danica Patrick (the only woman to win a race in the IndyCar Series and holds the highest finish by a woman at the Indianapolis 500).

Tell us a few interesting facts about yourself!

I lived in Breckenridge, Col. for 10 years. I love Italian and Greek food. And, the yummy treats the grandmas at White Rock make. I rowed on the UNH women’s crew team. I learned how to drive a standard truck in a field in 5th grade.
