Country songstress and former Insider featurette Natalie Turgeon is hosting the release party for her latest album, “American Ride,” on April 27 at Alan's Restaurant in Boscawen. Fifty percent of all the proceeds from the sales of the album will be donated to the Dan Doherty Benefit Fund. Officer Doherty of the Manchester Police Department was shot five times in the line of duty on March 28. The fund was set up to pay for his medical expenses. Turgeon hopes that people will come out to support this worthy cause while enjoying some country music with a rockin' attitude!
Turgeon and her band have been working on a five-song EP for the past few months. The album consists of four originals and one cover. It will feature a little something for each one of Turgeon's fans, from rockin' country with attitude to powerful heart wrenching ballads. It will also show Turgeon's uncanny ability to take a well-established song and reinvigorate it with her own flare. Turgeon is excited to share her songs with her fans, with New England, and with America.
“Music connects us to each other and stirs up our raw emotions,” Turgeon said. “I love singing to my audience and being able to take them on a journey through my experiences and passions.”
