The Concord Youth Hockey receives a check for $8,000. These funds are going to a discounted equipment program for beginners, cross ice dividers for the younger programs and promoting community skate days at Everett Arena and the city carks this winter.

The 1883 Black Ice Pond Hockey Association recently presented two checks from the funds raised from last year's inaugural tournament. The mission of Black Ice is to maintain and expand ice skating opportunities in greater Concord. This year's benefactors were the Concord Parks and Recreation Department and Concord Youth Hockey.
