Michael, how did you find out about CYPN?

My parents (Jerry and Patti Kingwill) are involved with the Chamber, and they suggested that I attend my first CYPN event when I was in college. After finishing school, I started attending CYPN events regularly.

How has being involved with CYPN helped you?

CYPN has really helped expand my network in the Greater Concord area, as well as introduced me to amazing people within the community. I joined the marketing committee and softball team to become more involved.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work you can find me playing hockey or tennis, in Boston with my brother Jeremy, with friends and family, or The Grove in Mississippi.

What has been your favorite CYPN event so far?

Networking at The Capitol Center for the Arts. I love old buildings and it's always nice to admire Cobb Hill's past projects.

When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I had an interest in becoming a veterinarian. I've always enjoyed animals.

Three things people might not know about you are:

I've been sand boarding on the dunes of Jeffrey's Bay, South Africa. I love photography and music. And I finished my college studies in Oxford, Mississippi.

The Concord Young Professionals Network (CYPN) is a professional and personal development initiative created by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce just over five years ago. Free events are held on the third Wednesday of every month at various Concord venues, where hundreds of young professionals of all ages can interact socially, build a network of contacts, exchange ideas and have fun. To receive notices of upcoming events, please visit concordypn.org.
