News and notes

Due to budget restrictions, the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center has changed its hours and the way its library pass program works. The center is now open Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday evenings from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Thanks to the generous donation of the Concord Education Association, the library has two dated, non-returnable coupons for each day the Discovery Center is open. Each coupon admits up to four people for free to the exhibit galleries in the Discovery Center. You must pay $4 per person for a planetarium show.

The Concord Education Association will again be purchasing the Museum of Fine Arts pass program, which gives us one dated pass for each day the museum is open during the year (360 days). These dated coupons will be available beginning Nov. 1.

For museum pass availability, you can search for the title “museum pass” in our online catalog.
