Kids behind the lens

The SNOB 2011 Film Festival is still accepting films for the KNOB (Kids North of Boston) film block. Get those films the kids have been working on cleaned up and submitted, stat! Don't miss this opportunity to see them on the big screen at the Red River Theatres next month. The festival is coming up fast! Young filmmakers are asked to submit films of good quality, no more than 7 minutes in length, for consideration. Some suggested topics for this year's festival include: the environment, social issues (i.e. – bullying, friendship) and New England history. Films may also be submitted outside of these categories.

We encourage groups to include a “cast and crew” shot after the end of their film, so even those behind the camera get on-screen recognition. We will notify all entrants upon receipt of their film within 72 hours. The films selected to be shown at KNOB will be screened at a special session during the SNOB 2011 Film Festival, Sept. 15-18, the exact time slot will be released soon. The KNOB Film Session is open to schools, home-schools, church groups, civic groups, and any other K-8 grade, independent filmmakers! The submission fee for KNOB films is waived for kids, grades K-8. Please see our website, snobfilmfestival.com/#!knob  for complete details. The deadline to submit films is Sept. 1. Films may be submitted to: Attn: KNOB Film Session, P.O. Box 273, Concord, N.H. 03302-0273  or dropped off at Red River Theatres in Concord. Email contact@snobfilmfestival.com for more information.
