For the fun of it

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Granite State College will present a preview of its fall courses on Aug. 25 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Pleasant View Retirement Center, 227 Pleasant St. The preview will feature teachers of some of the more than 20 courses offered at the Concord location this fall including astronomy, antiques, opera, politics and history. Refreshments will be served following the presentations and registration for classes will be accepted.

OLLI at Granite State College is one of over 120 OLLIs at colleges and universities nationwide, all funded by the Bernard Osher Foundation to offer learning for the fun of it. Most OLLI courses are held at the Granite State College campus at 8 Old Suncook Road. Membership in OLLI is open to all New England residents that are 50 years of age or over.
