“Lure of the Land”

Explore the past, present and sustainable future of New Hampshire agriculture at Merrimack County Conservation District's annual meeting June 28 at Dell Lea Country Club in Chichester.

The Concord Historical Society will cover the history of local agriculture with a presentation, “Lure of the Land,” based on it's recently released history of Concord.

Author and UNH professor John Carroll will discuss New Hampshire's ability to feed itself and point out some of the infrastructural needs that must be addressed to increase significantly future local production of fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat and grains.

Please visit merrimackccd.org or contact the Merrimack County Conservation District at 223-6023 or info@merrimackccd.org to register.
