On May 20, the Friends Program held its 12th annual Charity Auction – Sit Back and Relax at the Grappone Conference Center. The event featured 18 inpidually decorated Adirondack chairs, 10 artist choice pieces as well as a number of unique specialty items. All told, the event raised over $100,000 to benefit the work of the Friends Program.
More than 300 event attendees were treated to an evening of tropical fun as the Grappone Conference was transformed into an island oasis complete with palm trees and tiki hut bars.
The evening included the presentation of the fourth annual James S. Doremus Award to longtime board member and artist, Sheri Vincent-Crisp of Bow.
