The AARP Tax-Aide program provides free tax preparation and e-filing for low and moderate income taxpayers. Tax-Aide's IRS-certified counselors assist all taxpayers, regardless of age, and give special attention to those age 60 and older. You do not need to be an AARP member to schedule an appointment. Simply dial 211 on your phone to talk to a representive and set up a time.
Appointments are available starting Feb. 1 at the following locations:
Granite United Way, Concord. Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
N.H. Federal Credit Union, Concord. Monday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Merrimack County Savings Bank, Bow. Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
