Get your tax forms

2010 IRS tax forms have been slowly trickling into Concord Public Library since the beginning of Jan. Because the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010 wasn't signed until Dec. 17, 2010, some forms weren't finalized until recently. This means that the IRS had to delay printing many forms and many booklets and publications have not arrived yet. Those affected that are of note include Form 1040, Form 1040A and their instructions. The library has been informed that the IRS started printing the 1040 and 1040A Instruction booklets on Jan. 6, and they probably won't arrive until late Jan. or early Feb. We are expecting everything else to arrive as it becomes available. Feel free to call the Reference Desk (225-8670, option #2) to check on availability before coming by to pick up tax forms.

The forms that have arrived at the library are available for the public. The most used forms are on display to your right as you walk through the second set of sliding glass doors. The remaining documents are kept in the wooden file cabinets by the New Books. If you need help locating these files or any other IRS forms, please ask at the Reference Desk.

The staff at Concord Public Library can not help with tax advice. However, we do have information on where you can go to get such help.
