Work hard at Presidential Oaks, get rewarded

Presidential Oaks hosted a banquet on Oct. 12 to honor employees who had reached significant milestones in their employment at the facility. The event was held at the Common Man Restaurant and included a social hour and a meal followed by the presentation of Presidential Oaks Longevity Awards.

Award recipients were joined by family members and friends to hear directors explain the specific contributions and achievements of each honoree. CEO Anne Purington extolled the value of those honorees unable to attend the event. She crafted lighthearted yet heartfelt odes which she read to the group.

“We truly value the commitment our employees have to Presidential Oaks,” Purington said.

“These honorees include people not just from our nursing staff but also from our environmental services, purchasing and housekeeping departments. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to sustain the high level of care we consistently provide to our residents and patients.”
The awards recipients include Pauline Dutton, 15 years of service; Tonia Mathieu, 10 years; Bonnie Chadbourne, 10 years; Shanna Westbrook, five years; Carol Krygowski, five years; Melanie Kangas, five years; Kevin Schofield, five years; Kelly Guyette, five years and John Godsey, five years.
