The New Hampshire National Guard held an event at the State Military Reservation on April 22 to celebrate Earth Day. The event featured Lieutenant Colonel David Mikolaities (as a guest speaker.
Lt. Col. Mikolaities spoke about the future construction of the Guard’s LEED-certified Regional Training Institute in
Pembroke. Exhibits highlighted design plans such as
solar hot water heating, rain water collection, porous concrete and low-emitting paints and flooring.
