The Audi gets a helping hand

If you're scouting for good works by good kids in the community, look no farther than City Auditorium.

Sean Fitzgerald, a senior at Bishop Brady High School, helped the Friends of the Audi Hospitality Committee collect the gifts of their famous cookie bakers by building a weatherproof lock box. The project completed requirements for the Life Scout rank as Sean prepares for his Eagle rank.

A member of Troop 88, Sean is also a member of the Order of the Arrow, which honors service to the organization of Boy Scouts and of the Brotherhood of Cheerful Service.

Sean is the third Concord Scout to assist the Friends of the Audi in their efforts to preserve and maintain the municipal theatre. Previous Eagle Scout projects included Gregory Masters's construction of the orchestra-stage staircases and Peter Russell's design and construction of the technical booth housing the sound and light equipment.
