Refugees have traveled a long hard road to get to this country. Most have suffered religious or ethnic persecution, war and years of minimal shelter and sustenance. A single hope drives them – the opportunity to start again.
Lutheran Social Services works to integrate refugee families into New Hampshire communities. We help these new arrivals to adjust to their surroundings and become productive members of their society.
We are looking for volunteers to share their knowledge of everyday activities such as cooking, shopping and using public transportation.
