Last week we asked if Manchester is Manch-vegas, what is Concord? Jean Richards not only responded to this week’s conversation starter, but also had a response to Wendy Woodman’s conversation about her first tricycle last week. Jean wrote:
“Hey Insiders, I was surprised at this question. Maybe you have to be a parent of a kid on one of the former track teams at Concord High School to know this, but we always thought Concord’s name was C-town. I believe it could be seen on bright fluorescent yellow T- shirts running about Concord at some point, so how about C-town? And by the way, tell Wendy her dad no doubt took her trike to Tom’s Welding. I know that is where my first “sting-ray” found new life!”
We kind of liked “Concun” as in “Cancun” but we’ll take C-Town. Thanks, Jean!
