Concord Hospital's annual Rock 'N Race was selected by the editors of New Hampshire Magazine as the “Best Community Running Event of 2010” in the magazine's annual Best of New Hampshire contest. This year's race was held on May 19 in downtown Concord. The event drew nearly 6,000 participants and raised more than $350,000 for the hospital's Payson Center for Cancer Care. Since the race began in 2003, it has raised more than $1.5 million to support Payson Center patients.
The winners for all categories were feted at the Best of New Hampshire celebration held on June 24 at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester.
