Stuff your face at The Barley House

The Barley House Restaurant announced today that it will be celebrating its ninth anniversary with a special Irish breakfast buffet. The celebration will mark nine years on Main Street and also kick off the St. Patrick's season for the downtown tavern.

Chef and owner Brian Shea believes that much of his success over the years is due to his location on Main Street. “Not every Main Street in America is thriving right now, but Concord has an independent 'can do' attitude that you know will pull through and persevere.” Brian is giving back to Main Street with proceeds from his Irish breakfast supporting Main Street Concord Inc. and directly to the maintenance of the street tree lights.

Meet your friends March 6 between 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at The Barley House Irish breakfast and start your day on a full stomach. The buffet will consist of scrambled eggs, Irish bacon, banger sausages, fried red potatoes and grilled tomatoes. Add coffee, juice, a fresh scone and your plate will be fuller than a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Support Main Street with this all-you-can eat buffet for $10.99. And don't forget that the bar will be open. “We will be featuring the original breakfast smoothie . . . Guinness Stout,” Brian says with a smile.
