Come and get it: Dinner on the lawn

Youth Venture is proud to present the first ever “Dinner on the Lawn: Get Social with Changemakers” Friday, Aug. 21, from 5-8 p.m. on the State House lawn. Gov. John Lynch will kick off the event with a commendation to Youth Venture for its efforts to inspire youth to create positive social change.

Learn how young changemakers are making a difference in your community, while you eat local food, play games, listen to live music by Brooks Young Band and meet the changemakers Youth Venture inspires and supports. These young leaders are taking initiative and creating real social change in the state by tackling important issues like climate change, poverty, education and physical health.

New Hampshire-based socially responsible businesses will also be setting up tables to display information about their organization and discuss their involvement in the social responsibility movement.

The event is free and open to the public, however donations are encouraged.

Dinner on the Lawn is proud to be sponsored by Green Concord, Boloco and Stonyfield Farm.
