Craft fairs are in full swing this time of year

At this time of year, craft fairs are all the rage.

It’s a great place to get gifts or stocking stuffers, and there are a lot coming up.

So we figured why not pass along some details?

 

Unitarian Church

The annual greens and artisans fair will be held on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 1 p.m.

The fair will feature local artisans, baked goods, a holiday boutique, cookie “walk,” holiday plants, hand-decorated wreaths and sprays, raffle baskets, and lunch at the UU Cafe.

 

Beaver Meadow

Beaver Meadow PTO is hosting the 26th Beaver Meadow School Craft Fair on Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You’ll find things like knitted items, quilts, Christmas decorations, wood working, candles, scarves, doll clothing and handmade jewelry.

 

Santa will be visiting from noon to 2 p.m. and will be available for photos with the kids – bring your camera!

 

Presidential Oaks

Dozens of local artisans will make their way to Presidential Oaks on Saturday for the Capital Area Artisans Annual Holiday Fair.

The fair, held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will also feature the Big Oak Cafe with stews, chowder, chili and lots of desserts.

Get a picture with Santa starting at 10 a.m.

 

Pleasant View

The Ye Olde Dickens Christmas Faire will be held Saturday at Pleasant View Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be crafters and bakers selling their goods and handcrafted wreath raffles, and don’t forget to grab a bite at Fezziwig’s Christmas Cafe.

And, to top it all off, enjoy costumed characters and holiday music.

 

Grace Episcopal

The St. Nicholas Fair will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, and includes one-of-a-kind holiday gifts, baked goods, a breakfast cafe and chili to go.
