WE ARE RALLYING ALONGSIDE ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN TOUCHED BY

BREAST CANCER TO FAN THE FLAME OF HOPE.   I am leading a team who is passionate about joining our

community to support those who are fighting, surviving, thriving, and honoring during the walk.

Chelsea  Paradore

American Cancer Society

CANCER STOLE MY FATHER FROM ME AND SINCE THAT MOMENT I HAVE BEEN DETERMINED TO OBLITERATE CANCER.  As an employee for the American Cancer Society, every day I get to work towards my goal  – a world where no one suffers from this ugly disease.  I am honored to fight alongside the Making Strides community.  We will defeat breast cancer.

Deb Johnson

Team: Lake Sunapee Bank

I BELIEVE BY PARTICIPATING IN MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER WE ARE NOT ONLY RAISING MONEY TO HELP FIND A CURE FOR CANCER BUT ALSO INCREASING AWARENESS AND HELPING TO SUPPORT THOSE WHOSE LIVES HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY BREAST CANCER.   Being part of a team encourages us to work together to fight this disease for our family, our friends and our communities.

Jean Rainville

Team: Bustin Out

FROM FIRST GRADE TO AGE 22 THIS EVENT CONTINUES TO AMAZE ME. MAKING STRIDES CONTINOUSLY PROVES THAT NO ONE IS ALONE IN THIS FIGHT, AND THAT EVERYONE WILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT UNTIL A CURE IS FOUND!  When someone has cancer, the whole family and everyone that loves them does too.  In our house we did cancer, we did chemo and sickness.  We did tears and we did pain, we worried and stressed…But we also did hope and we persevered!  Because in our house we don’t go down without a fight!

Judy Mitchell

Team: Concord Pediatrics, P.A.

WHAT INSPIRES ME TO BE PART OF MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER IS TO HONOR THE COURAGE Of those who have fought, those who are fighting, and those who will fight breast cancer and all cancers, and knowing that a cure for breast cancer is also a hope for a cure for all cancers.

Kim  Dery

Team: Jeanne’s Jugs

THE STORIES, THE TEARS, THE LAUGHER AND THE CAMARADERIE OF MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN AT THIS EVENT IS VERY HEART- WARMING.  No matter what my Mom’s struggle is, she is always strong, brave and optimistic.  I would like her to know she is note alone!!

Laurie McDonald

Team:  Team  Tooty Ta  Tas

I  AM A SURVIVOR!  I NOW TAKE NOTHING FOR GRANTED.  Being a survivor means that new friends become family, old friends become your foundation and every day of being CANCER free brings hope and freedom.

Michelle Audet

Team: Double “O” Defenders

I  HOPE THAT THE SMALL EFFORTS I CAN OFFER CAN BE A BIG PART OF MAKING STRIDES IN RESEARCH, TREATMENT, SUPPORT AND A CURE FOR BREAST CANCER.  The passion and contributions that our community puts forward to help support those with breast cancer, survivors and their families and the families of those we have lost is an inspiration and honor to be part of.

Pat Powers

Team: Let’s Hear it for the Girls, National Pacesetter Team

I BELIEVE THAT GROUNDBREAKING RESEARCH AND TARGETED TREATMENT PLANS ARE THE KEY TO FIGHTING THIS DISEASE.  Let’s Hear it for the Girls  is proud to have  six survivors on our team and the $173,000 we have raised in the 7 years shows our passion and commitment to continue the fight for a cure!

Sharon Vitolo

Team: BC Busters

IT WILL BE ELEVEN YEARS THIS DECEMBER I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH BREAST CANCER.  I honestly never thought I would be “one of them” but here I am a Survivor!  Ashamedly, that is when I knew I had to help.  I was lucky, many are not. My hope is that my grandchildren don’t have to ever be “one of them.”

Sharon Zimmermann

Team: Quilting HottiesFor Hooters

AS A TEAM LEADER, I AM PROUD OF THE PASSION THAT OUR TEAM CONTINUES TO HAVE EVERY YEAR TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THIS HORRIBLE DISEASE.  We are passionate about fundraising because we know the importance it has in saving lives and getting us closer to ending breast cancer and for the services it provides in our community to those fighting cancer.  This year we walk in memory of Darlene Miner, a wonderful mother, wife, sister, grandmother, daughter and friend, who we lost this year.  She was passionate about life and so we honor her with our passion to make a difference by continuing the fight.

Willow Bynum

Team: A,B,C, DD Lets Save the All

I  AM ALWAYS AMAZED BY THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE THAT WALK AT THIS EVENT AND IT INSPIRES ME TO REACH FURTHER THE FOLLOWING YEAR.  This is my third year as a team leader and every year I am so excited to come back and have another team.  My team only continues to grow and I am so appreciative of those people who continually return to my team.   It makes me happy and proud of me team.
