If you’re in the market for a new member of the family (and we mean of the animal variety), you should really make your way over to the Pope Memorial SPCA.

The local animal shelter is home to all kinds of adoptable animals in need of a good home. And that good home could be yours.

As of last week, the SPCA had dogs and cats – including some kittens – two guinea pigs and a bunny. They’ve even been known to have birds and rodents, too.

And we couldn’t go there and not take pictures to share. Now be aware, some of these animals may have been adopted since we were there, but there are always new animals coming in that need a forever home. And considering the longest stay for a current resident is only since February, luckily these animals don’t have to wait too long to have another shot at the good life.

But just remember, adoption is a long-term commitment, and one that should be well thought out.
