Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is inviting golfers, sponsors, and community supporters to join its 12th Annual Chipping In FORE! Independence Golf Tournament on Thursday, September 17 at Stonebridge Country Club. The tournament brings together individuals and organizations committed to supporting independence and opportunity for people with disabilities throughout New Hampshire. Participants will enjoy a day of golf, networking, contests, prizes, and community connection while helping advance GSIL’s mission.

This year, GSIL is especially excited to welcome Cold Springs Healing Paws, whose highly trained service dogs will be on-site to meet golfers and demonstrate the vital role service animals play in helping individuals live more independently. The special guests are expected to be one of the highlights of the day. Adding even more excitement to the tournament, golfers will have the opportunity to take their best shot at a $25,000 Hole-in-One Prize.

“Chipping In FORE! Independence is always a wonderful day, but what makes it truly special is seeing our community come together around GSIL’s mission,” said Shirley English, GSIL Advancement Director. “We’re thrilled to welcome Cold Springs Healing Paws this year and give our golfers a chance to meet some incredible service dogs while learning more about the difference they make in people’s lives. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer, a first-time participant, or a sponsor, this event is a fun and meaningful way to make a difference.”

Proceeds from the tournament directly support GSIL’s mission of promoting quality of life with independence for people with disabilities. Funds raised help provide programs, services, advocacy, and resources that empower individuals to make their own choices, live independently, and participate fully in their communities. The tournament offers valuable opportunities for golfers, businesses, sponsors, and community partners to engage with GSIL’s mission while enjoying a memorable day on the course.
