The public is invited to experience our historic farm as a new season of community events and farm-to-table lunches begins at Sanborn Mills Farm in Loudon.

These events offer engaging demonstrations and guided tours that celebrate our working
historic farm and the traditions that sustain it. Community events are open to the public and begin at 11 a.m., followed by a farm-to-table lunch at 12 p.m. featuring fresh, locally grown ingredients. Lunch seating is limited and requires advance registration.

A special highlight of the season will be Open Farm Day on Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., when visitors are invited to explore the farm, watch a variety of craft demonstrations, witness and learn about our water-powered saw and grist mills, and stroll through our beautiful gardens. Open Farm Day is designed for families, neighbors, and anyone interested in connecting with local agriculture and rural traditions.

Throughout the season, guests can attend a variety of demonstrations and tours, including draft animal–powered cultivation, garden tours, traditional grain harvesting demonstrations, and opportunities to learn about the farm’s natural dye garden. Each event offers a chance to slow down, learn something new and share a meal together in a beautiful farm setting.

Dates and additional information can be found on our website at sanbornmills.org.
