Do you have a song you’ve just been waiting for the world to hear? Well here’s your chance. The Concord Community Music School will let you record up to five minutes of your soon to be No. 1 billboard sensation from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the studio.

If you’re interested in learning all about hiking when it’s really cold out then you might want to head down to the Concord library tonight as 6 p.m. for a little introduction with Allison Driscoll.

Thursday

The Concord Garden Club likes to do fun things. If you don’t believe us check out their Facebook page. And today at Pleasant View Center, the club will be hosting an event, “Holiday Tea and Floral Demonstration: Beyond the Cornucopia,” at 1 p.m.

Friday

McGowan Fine Art has another new exhibit up and tonight just so happens to be the opening reception for “Seasons,” featuring the art of Sandy Wadlington. The reception will go from 5 to 7 p.m. and there will be refreshments.

The Concord Community Players have a big weekend planned at the Audi. The local acting group will put on three performances of Sweeney Todd, beginning with tonight’s opener at 7:30 p.m. Shows will also be Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Saturday

Break out your favorite dress and tiara, cause Red River Theatres is throwing its annual Princess Tea Party, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. There will be two tea party options to choose from. Cost is $30 and includes one adult and one child; $10 for each additional guest.

The Concord library wants to spruce up your Thanksgiving festivities. At 10 a.m., there will be a Thanksgiving-craft-for-kids shindig for youngins age 5 and older. You might just get that turkey made out of a hand cutout after all.

True Brew Barista will have Greg Cornell and the Cornell Brothers rockin’ the stage from 9 p.m. to midnight. The Brooklyn based music group will bring its blend of bluegrass, country, old-time and blues for any and all to enjoy (21 or older) for just a $5 cover charge.

If hearing tall tales is something you enjoy on a Saturday night, then NHTI is the place to be. The 18th annual Time for Tellabration will celebrate the art of storytelling with local storytellers from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the NHTI library living room. Admission is free

Sunday

If we told you there’s a chance to take home some delicious homemade baked goods, you’d be interested, right? From 3 to 5 p.m., the West Congregational Church (499 N. State St.) will host a dessert auction in the Tenney Roper Hall, Hutchins Street. There will be pies, cookies, cakes and all kinds of other desserts. Need we say more?
