In case you missed last week’s issue of the Insider (shame on you) and all those signs around town, the Somewhat North of Boston Film Festival was held this past weekend.

With more than 70 films shown during the four-day festival and three beer tastings, Red River Theatres was quite busy to say the least. There was also three nights of music, capped off with a bash at the Barley House for the awards ceremony.

And since we couldn’t make it, as was probably the case for some of you, we wanted to take the time to point out all the winners, so here’s a look at the films that took home the shiny awards.

Best of Fest: Dog Days of Winter, Brian Gilmore (Middle).

Best Feature Documentary-Entertainment: Be A Man, Ray Harrington (Bottom right).

Best Feature Documentary-Education & Innovation: Dog Days of Winter, Brian Gilmore.

Best Medium-Length Film: East of Hollywood, Chris Caccioppoli.

Best Short-Suspense/Thriller: Beauty Shot, Leticia De Bartoli.

Best Short-Documentary: The Nike Chariot Earring, Karen Audette.

Best Short-Comedy: Margaret, Manan Singh Katohora.

Best Short-Drama: Haunted, Katie Ennis.

Best Short-Student: Guarder of Lives, Dakota Lustick (Right).

Best Foreign Film: Jewish Blind Date, Anaelle Morf.

Best Kids Film: Panadero: Life of a Galician Bread Man, Aidan Hamell.
