Girls Inc. Personal Best 5K slated for Oct. 3

Girls Inc. of New Hampshire will be holding the Personal Best 5K on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 9 a.m. at our Concord Center located at 15 Shawmut St. The Concord Girls’ Center moved to the former Eastman School this past February so the race course has moved along with it. The course will run through the neighborhood and will include a loop in the Batchelder Mill Road Trails. The course is mostly flat and great for both runners and walkers.

Long-sleeved t-shirts will be given to the first 100 registered runners and we will have post-race food (including Puppy Love Hot Dogs), and prizes!

Girls from our three centers are currently training to run the race and experience the exhilaration of crossing the finish line. Please join them on Oct. 3 by registering online at raceroster.com/5568. If you can’t make it, you can still make a donation or pledge a runner. All of the money we raise will provide scholarships to girls in our programs.

Girls Incorporated of New Hampshire is a member-based organization for girls ages 5 to 18 with a co-ed preschool for 3 and 4 year-olds. Girls Incorporated of New Hampshire, where girls achieve their personal best, is all about making it possible for girls to discover that strength, that quality within them that makes them realize they can achieve anything.
