O’Neil named director of resource development

Granite United Way is pleased to announce that Rachel O’Neil has joined the organization as Director of Resource Development. She will focus her efforts on strengthening the Merrimack County region of Granite United Way.

She will lead Granite United Way’s fundraising efforts in Merrimack County. Last year the Merrimack County campaign raised a record breaking $2.2 million. O’Neil will also play a key role in the administering the New Hampshire State Employees’ Charitable Campaign which generates more than $380,000 annually to support local programs and initiatives.

O’Neil, a Concord resident, brings with her strong communication and fundraising skills. She has served in several nonprofit capacities where her analytical and research skills helped to raise funds and evaluate community needs. O’Neil received her Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the State University of New York Potsdam and went on to complete her Masters of Public Health from the School of Public Health at the University of Albany.

“Rachel has a strong passion for improving lives in her community and our team has been energized by her enthusiasm,” said Kristin Martin, Senior Director of Campaign Management for Granite United Way.
