With the holidays winding down, there is no better time than now to consider giving something that means something and doesn’t cost anything: donate blood. The winter months can be a challenging time for blood collection. For the month of January, the American Red Cross Blood Services is partnering with Dunkin’ Donuts. As a thank you, each presenting donor will receive a coupon for a free pound of coffee. The coupons are redeemable at all participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants.
Please consider donating at one of the following American Red Cross blood drives:
Jan. 14 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 180 Loudon Road. Donor hours are 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Jan. 24 at Beaver Meadow Golf Course, 1 Beaver Meadow St. Donor hours are 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Jan. 28 at First Congregational Church, 301 Pembroke St., Pembroke. Donor hours are 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.; or Jan. 30 at St. John’s Activity Center, 72 S. Main St. Donor hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
