Do you like to learn about new things? Do you enjoy new experiences? If so, then the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is for you. Each spring and fall, OLLI, which is an adjunct of Granite State College at 25 Hall St., offers a wide variety of interesting courses that anyone 50 years or beyond can take.

The volunteers in these pictures are learning to become class assistants who will help the volunteer instructors (or presenters) with administrative details. For example, they will remind the enrollees about the time and place that the class will be held, take attendance and introduce the presenter. Upon completion of the training, they will be assigned where needed.

OLLI is a nationwide program to foster and encourage the continuing education of older adults. By becoming members, participants may enroll in any of the offerings at a small cost and become part of a group learning new things in a friendly, relaxed way. There are no tests and no grading, only the adventure of learning!

Anyone interested may call 513-1377 or visit the website at olli.granite.edu. You can obtain a catalog which describes the offerings in detail as well as the benefits of membership.
