Wine for a good cause

Thanks to the collaborative efforts of Concord Hospital, New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology, PA and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, cancer patients have access to genetic testing and counseling at Concord Hospital Breast Care Center. The program is led by national and local experts and enables cancer patients to learn if they are at high-risk of developing cancer. Early identification allows patients the opportunity to work with their healthcare providers and take proper steps for risk reduction and increased surveillance.

The community has a chance to make a difference in the lives of their family, friends and neighbors and support Concord Hospital’s Genetic Counseling Program by attending the annual Heart of the Grape Wine Tasting event Feb. 8 at The Courtyard by Marriott Grappone Conference Center. General admission is from 7 to 9 p.m. and V.I.P. admission is from 6 to 7 p.m. V.I.P. admission includes the opportunity to sample high-end wines, entrance to the Heart of the Grape wine tasting main event, a chance at an exclusive V.I.P.-only raffle prize and your own Riedel wine glass. Limited tickets are available.

The benefit, hosted by The Courtyard by Marriott and Martignetti Companies of New Hampshire Inc., offers guests the opportunity to learn and experience some of the most prestigious and respected wines from prominent wineries throughout the world, all while enjoying beautiful music performed by Lakes Region Big Band.

General admission tickets are $30 per person and V.I.P. tickets are $75 per person if purchased online at ch-trust.org and clicking on the Heart of the Grape logo.  A limited number of tickets are available and advanced reservations are recommended. To purchase tickets offline, call Concord Hospital Trust-Office of Philanthropy at 225-2711, ext. 3076 or visit ch-trust.org and click on the Heart of the Grape logo.
