Surf's up at Concord Public Library

Summer's not over yet! And to prove it, the Concord Public Library held a Surf's Up craft event Aug. 15. We were ready to catch some waves with the kiddos, but it turns out it wasn't that kind of party. Bummer, dude (that's surfer dude lingo for the unitiated). But fun was still had by all as the participants decorated mini-surfboards and boomerangs to their hearts' content. They were also able to create a coral reef collage, if that suited their fancy. It was an Elmer's Glue-squeezing, Crayola-scribbling, bedazzling good time.
