Friendship walk

Best Buddies New Hampshire will host the inaugural Friendship Walk on June 17 at the State House at noon. The one-mile walk is part of an effort to bring a chapter of Best Buddies to New Hampshire. Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization that works to foster opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Hundreds of the organization's supporters will come together to walk for friendship and the overall enhancement of the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Walkers and runners with and without disabilities will enjoy a jam-packed day of fun in the sun, including face-painting, music from the Eric Grant Band, and food provided by The Outback Steakhouse.

Form a team and raise donations to establish a chapter in this state! Registration is free and open to the public. Registration runs from 10 to 11:45 a.m. and the walk starts at noon.
