What? You’ve never met Jessica Fogg? What do you even do around Concord? She’s involved with just about everything!

Each month, the Concord Young Professionals Network spotlights one of its up-and-comers. This month, we'd like to introduce you to a real bigwig in the CYPN world, Jessica Fogg.

How old are you? What town do you live in? Where do you work?

I am 31, I live in downtown Concord and I just started my own business called JFogg Social Inspirations doing social media marketing and event planning. I have also been the chair of CYPN for the past two years.

How did you find out about CYPN?

When CYPN started as an initiative of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, I worked right next door to the chamber. I was looking for something to get involved in and get out and meet more people. CYPN was the right fit!

How has being involved with CYPN helped you?

I've developed so many valuable relationships with people through CYPN. I've built a dynamic network of people around myself that has introduced me to many volunteer and career opportunities which has positioned me to (hopefully!) be successful in my new venture of entrepreneurship.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I don't have a lot of time outside of work but when I am not working, I am spending time with my children ages 10 and 13.

What has been your favorite CYPN event so far?

Wow, I have been to a LOT of CYPN events in the past four years so it's tough to choose just one. I especially enjoy the enrichment events. It's always great to learn things like something new in the community, art appreciation or even ballroom dancing!

When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A backup dancer for a pop star.

Tell us three facts about yourself!

I coordinated Concord's first flash mob, I hate exercise but I take a fitness bootcamp class, and I love cats (I've been called a cat lady before).

The Concord Young Professionals Network (CYPN) is a professional and personal development initiative created by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce just over five years ago. Free events are held on the third Wednesday of every month at various Concord venues, where hundreds of young professionals of all ages can interact socially, build a network of contacts, exchange ideas and have fun.
