If you read our 2011 Concord Reads book “Outcasts United,” and you weren't able to attend the program with the film Uprooted: Heartache and Hope in New Hampshire or the author event, the library has both of these on DVD. With your library card, you can check them out and watch them in the comfort of your own home.
The Uprooted DVD can be checked out for seven days. There is also a resource guide to supplement the DVD with information about the refugee community in New Hampshire. It is currently a new book and can be checked out for 14 days.
ConcordTV filmed author Warren St. John's talk and provided us with a copy. The title is Concord Reads 2011: Outcasts United and it too can be checked out for 7 days. ConcordTV has been airing it, but with the DVD, you can watch it at your convenience. Just ask at the library's service desk if you need help finding any of these materials.
