Tour the galleries

The art scene in Concord is exploding, and the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to an open gallery tour that highlights the abundant artistic talent in the capital area. Enjoy a warm summer evening while enjoying light refreshments and spectacular artwork on June 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. A flyer and map will be available at each gallery, as well as refreshments.

This event is free and open to the public. Participating venues include:

Kimball Jenkins Art School, 266 N. Main St.: Student exhibition.

League of New Hampshire Craftsmen Gallery, 205 N. Main St.: Lifetime Achievement Exhibit, Walker T. Weed.

McAuliffe Shepard Discovery Center, 2 Institute Drive: Artwork by Diane MacPherson and Marty Quinn.

Mill Brook Gallery & Sculpture Garden, 236 Hopkinton Road: Pamela R. Tarbell's Salon Exhibit: “New Paintings.”

NHTI Library Gallery, 31 College Drive: Photography by Cathy Thorsell, paintings by Susan Edmunds, and handmade cards by Trina Arling.

Red River Theatres, 11 S. Main Street.: Artwork by Lucinda Biese, painter.

Rowland Studio, 23 N. Main St.: New Artists at Gallery 23.

The Works Bakery & Cafe, 42 North Main Street: Artwork by Jan Foster.
