Mary Snider sent in this photo of a graceful swan she came across last month. “The week of March 8 we started seeing a lone swan swimming around Horseshoe Pond. Those of us who work at the Horseshoe Pond medical office have a wonderful view of him/her,” she wrote. “I stopped on March 11 before work to see if I could get a photo. The swan had just stepped up onto the ice to do some cleaning!”
