“I am Laconia” . . . in Concord

Now on view at the Concord Public Library is the Laconia Historical Society's recent contemporary history exhibit, “I am Laconia,” featuring the personal stories of refugees in the area. Iraqi, Bhutanese, Burundian, Meskhetian Turk and Bosnian participants share their stories of life in their country of origin, how they came to live in New Hampshire, balancing their own culture with American culture and their hopes for the future.

The exhibit is on display through March. It is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.
