Mothers in the Pittsfield area now have a new place to find friendship, encouragement and community as MomCo launches a new local group this fall.
MomCo is a global organization dedicated to helping moms thrive by creating welcoming spaces where they can build meaningful relationships, grow personally, and navigate the joys and challenges of motherhood together. The Pittsfield group will provide moms with opportunities to connect through regular gatherings featuring conversations, practical parenting encouragement, creative activities, and genuine community.
Motherhood can often feel overwhelming or isolating, especially during the early years of raising children. MomCo believes no mom should have to do it alone. Additionally, MomCo assists moms through their partner program KidCo. KidCo cares for the children while their mothers are engaged. KidCo is staffed by background-checked individuals and provides the kids with their own time of learning, fun and community.
The group is open to moms in every stage of motherhood and welcomes women from Pittsfield and surrounding communities. Meetings are designed to give moms a chance to recharge, share life together and leave feeling encouraged.
MomCo partners with churches and communities around the world to strengthen families by investing in mothers. Each gathering is intentionally designed to foster connection, laughter, and personal growth while reminding moms that they are not alone.
The Pittsfield group will begin meeting this fall, beginning in September, at First Congregational Church, located at 24 Main Street, on the first and third Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
