It doesn't take a crystal ball or tarot cards to discuss the menu of the future!

Are you confused by the choice of local or organic food? Do you wonder about the real impact of your food choices on the environment? Have you thought about the practicality of growing some of your own food? You are not alone!

The “Menu for the Future” discussion group is an opportunity to gather with other people and explore the connection between food and sustainability. This six-week program comes from a study guide prepared by the Northwest Earth Institute, a recognized leader in the development of innovative programs that empower inpiduals and organizations to protect ecological systems.

The Concord Cooperative Market will offer this program. The group will meet for six Thursday nights, Feb. 19 through March 26, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Concord Cooperative Market. The co-op's outreach development coordinator and environmental educator, Ruth Smith, will lead the group.
