Matt Newton, director of the New Hampshire Film & Television Office, will present the workshop “Filming On Location: What To Know Before You Go.” The workshop will give you an introduction to shooting on location, including how to search for the right backdrop, how to gain permissions and obtain releases, and will provide a brief overview about the Film Office and how it works with filmmakers and media producers with everything from securing locations to closing roads to finding crew to promoting projects. Cost is $10, free for students. Pizza will be served. Raffles at end of workshop. The event takes place on March 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Concord High School, 170 Warren St.
