Hankering for some mystery in your life? Well, hanker no more!

Join us at the Concord Public Library for a new book discussion series this spring, “Mysteries on Both Sides of the Pond.” This mystery series includes professional and amateur detectives from both sides of the Atlantic. Professor Suzanne Brown will lead the February and April programs, and Professor Don Sieker will lead the March discussion. The programs will all start at 7 p.m. and take place in the library auditorium.

Sets of books are available for checkout as of Jan. 26. The series is sponsored by the Concord Public Library Foundation and the New Hampshire Humanities Council. The programs are free, and everyone is welcome.

The schedule is:• Feb. 23, “A Study in Scarlet,” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.March 16, “First Light,” by Philip R. Craig and William G. TapplyApril 13, “St. Alban's Fire,” by Archer Mayor
